Jacksonville Beach, Neptune Beach, and Atlantic Beach are contiguous communities bordered to the west by the Intracoastal Waterway and to the east by the Atlantic Ocean and lying just north of the St. Johns County line in Duval County.  The Beaches offer a coastal lifestyle with fishing, boating, kayaking, stand up paddling, surfing, beach volleyball, walking and biking.  With both the ocean and the ICW nearby, outdoor opportunities are endless.
To the north of Neptune is Atlantic Beach.  The Adele Grage Cultural Center sits on the spot established as a station on the Henry Flagler railroad in the early 1900s.  Atlantic Beach is 13 square miles (3.5 land) with many upscale homes intertwined with old Florida charmers.  The Town Center houses restaurants, shops and bars.  Known for its creative spirit, Atlantic Beach pairs with Neptune to host North Beaches Art Walk each month featuring many local artists and performers.  The Adele Grage Center regularly hosts plays performed by the Players by the Sea troupe.  Atlantic Beach Country Club hosted the Tour Championship 2016, 2017 and 2018.  It is also known for its tennis facility that hosts competition from numerous leagues.
